Love Day Two

My photography journey started at the tail end of 2012, I knew right away that this was my career path. I loved it! Like anything in life that we are new at, we have to practice, practice, practice! I was constantly asking friends and family to let me schedule practice sessions. Two of my friends were dating at the time and agreed to a"just because"session. Brittany was my roommate when she started dating Kyle. I was there at the beginning of there love story, and they were at the beginning of my photography love story. As you view their journey from dating, getting engaged, and getting married,  you are also viewing my journey as a photographer. Wonderfully intertwined and so very special to me! Thank you Brittany and Kyle for trusting me to capture your love story, and for believing in me. p.s.... yes I started as Relish Photography, but dropped the name when my mom kept telling me I sounded like a food photographer that specialized in images of hot dogs, like I said before....a journey. (haha)!

Love Day One

It's day one of my fourteen days of love! If you are anything like me you already miss the Christmas season. It always comes and goes so quickly! I was so excited when I when I found this adorable idea from The Mama's Girls. Love Shacks! A Valentines day version of the gingerbread house is such a creative idea, and so perfect for all those little heart shaped, red, pink, and white candies your kiddos are going to bring home from school. Here is the link to the instructions:http://themamasgirls.com/love-shacks/

Welcoming 2015 with a photo a day challenge, I will be taking and posting one photo a day for the entire year! 2014 brought me so many blessings, I am so excited to see what 2015 has in store for my family. My little window watcher, if there is a window or glass door, he will find it and gaze out at all the outdoor action.
